<h1>
Hey!
</h1> <p>
I am Samu,
</p>
I am a Full-Stack developer and software architect based in Finland. Creating simple UI aiming for an intuitive UX.
I have been progressing my skills as a developer for the past 7+ years. I first got interested in robotics in elementary school when I was introduced to Lego EV3. From there I have progressed to Arduino. I have participated with success in Innokas-networks programming & robotics competition.
In the recent years I have moved on to web development and design. I started my own company and later formed a limited company with couple of my friends. In there I have taken a deeper dive into software architecturing and embraced the Full-Stack developing while exploring new technologies and techniques.
As a hobby I enjoy photography. I love walking in the nature and snapping pictures of everything around me. Occasionally I also do street photography and portraits. Read more!

Robotics club instructor
Occasionally in 2018 and 2019
I taught basics of robotics for elementary school students. Teaching was arranged by my city as a club lasting for a few days, couple times a year. Teaching included basics of programming, EV3 robotics, C++, Arduino, Python and software development.

My skills
React/HTML/CSS
I use React in my daily work and have mastered NextJS as my main (meta )framework. As a byproduct I have conquered the ultimate programming language: Hypertext Markup Language. And because this looks like shit; CSS on the side.
Full-Stack / Software architecture
Full-Stack development has been a crucial part of my career and has come natural for me. I have experience in building software packages from simple webpage-to-API interactions to complex structures including IOT-devices and server microservices. I have adapted to using TypeScript recently instead of that awful, last season, buggy JS. (Yes I am late to it. Why tho? IDK.)
Misc languages
We all have them. Go, Python and Java being the strongest for me. Acquired on Full-Stack development (and SpigotMC development) they are in weekly (or maybe monthly) use in my work. I have been also writing a bit of C/C++ for my personal projects.
Virtualization/Proxmox
Virtualization is an essential part of my toolkit (as it should) and I have experienced on it in various ways. Virtual machines, VPS, VPN etc. My favorite tool right now on the topic is Proxmox. I use docker for my daily work.
Future goals
My personal goals regarding software development include the following: improving know-how on ITSec, learning basics of machine learning and improving project management skills. I aim to push our company and my personal brand forward to avoid working the register.
Software
In my toolkit: VSCode, Ubuntu, Windows, Proxmox, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, GitHub. I don't think I need to explain what for and why I use these pieces of software for programming and photo manipulation.
Awards / Winnings
Innokas - Freestyle extreme
2019
In Innokas programming and robotics tournament in 2019 we won in the "Freestyle extreme" -category with a team of three. With our team called "Pear Inc." we created a miniature room models containing different solutions within the theme of that year: sustainable development.
